Second Visit

Time: 3.00-5.15pm
-walked around and talked to most of the elderly
-there was one particular old lady who keep repeating her questions given to us such as which school we are from. She also refused to answer our questions posed to her.
*1 issue to note! A lot time is wasted in talking to her, repeating questions.*
-bald ironic man
-when we asked him using Cantonese if he is able to speak Cantonese, he replied "no" in Cantonese, when we use English to ask if he can speak English instead, he replied again, "no, i cannot speak English, I'm hokkien." This time speaking in English.
(he is ironic, we need to find new ways to communicate with him)
-history teacher (old lady)
-she talk us on her experience during WWII, Japanese occupation
-water torture
-beheading
-sex slave for soldiers
-we can see fear and hatred in her eyes during the talk
-while at present
-she praised herself for being knowledgeable (book smart)
-disappointed that the other elderly do not listen to her
